The duration of a project can vary greatly, from a few hours in-person to long term planning and execution that spans over months. The scope of work coupled with the scheduling of individual working sessions are the main drivers of the overall project timeline.

This also varies quite a bit, but as a general rule, we try to keep an individual session to 4 hours. That block of time tends to be a sweet spot for getting maximum production without tying up client time and their space for longer stretches.

If required as part of the project, we'll provide recommendations as to what solutions make the most sense. If storage supplies or materials are needed, those requests will come in the form of a revised proposal for client approval before purchase. You'll never be surprised with an unexpected charge.

Yes, we do offer ongoing maintenance services to ensure your space remains streamlined and functional. We understand that maintaining an organized space can be challenging, and we find just a little bit of maintenance goes a long way. Our repeat clients typically call on us every 3 to 6 months, often to refresh an area that has been taken over by clutter or disorganization.

Items that the client decides to let go can be sold, donated, recycled, or responsibly disposed of if they don't fall into those categories. All of this is done in careful consultation with the client. If desired, Tame Space can handle the removal and processing of items that are being purged.

We strive to minimize our environmental impact by reusing, repurposing, and recycling items whenever it's feasible. It's part of our commitment to being a responsible and sustainable business. 

There is nothing we take more seriously than our client's safety, privacy, and confidentiality. We understand that allowing someone into your space, particularly in dealing with your possessions, is deeply personal. Every Tame Space expert will gently care for your belongings and treat your space with respect. Additionally, our booking process beginning with a Zoom consultation offers you the opportunity to get a sense of our people and process. We find this helps establish a level of comfort before an in-home meeting is booked.

Yes, our services are fully licensed and insured. In the unlikely event of any damage to your property or possessions in the course of a project, rest assured that you are protected. We can provide our certificate of insurance and policy details upon client request.

At Tame Space, we understand that life can sometimes throw unexpected changes at you, requiring you to cancel or reschedule appointments. Our policy is designed to accommodate your dynamic needs while ensuring the smooth operation of our services. If you find yourself needing to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours' notice.

We also understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, making it necessary to cancel an appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time. In such cases, we completely understand and there will be no fee for the first short-notice cancellation. However, to ensure fairness and efficiency for all parties involved, subsequent last-minute cancellations will be subject to a fee.

For a second cancellation within 48 hours of the appointment, a fee of $150 will be applied. From the third cancellation onwards, a fee of $250 will be billed.
